QUALITY OBJECTIVES
FACULTY OF PHARMACY 2026-2030
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 1
To achieve an enrollment of at least 1,000 undergraduate students and 200 postgraduate students, including flexible learning pathway students, by 2030.
- Maintain a ratio of at least 1:8 for clinical and pharmacy practice lecturers to final-year clinical students.
- Maintain a ratio of at least 1:15 for the overall academic staff to students in the pharmacy program.
- Maintain a minimum percentage of lecturers with a BPharm qualification as follows:
- 90% in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
- 50% in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
- 25% in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- 25% in the Department of Pharmacology and Life Sciences.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 2
To ensure 25% of Diploma candidates and 25% of Bachelor’s degree candidates choose UiTM as their first choice for every annual intake.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 3
To ensure 100% of the curriculum undergoes a review process at least once every 3–5 years.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 4
To achieve 100% Distinguished Student Model (Model Mahasiswa Terbilang - MMT).
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 5
To ensure an increase in the percentage of students Graduating on Time (GoT) by 2030 according to the level of study:
- Average of 90% for full-time Diploma students.
- Average of 90% for full-time Bachelor’s degree students.
- Average of 90% for Master’s (Coursework) students.
- Average of 15% for Master’s (Research) students.
- Average of 20% for PhD students.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 6
To ensure the percentage of students graduating with:
CGPA of 3.5 and above:
- 30% of Diploma Graduates.
- 30% of Bachelor’s Degree Graduates.
CGPA of 3.75 and above:
- 40% of Master’s (Coursework) Graduates.

To ensure the graduate employability rate exceeds 90%.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE 8
To produce > 10% graduate entrepreneurs out of the total graduating population by 2030.

To ensure the number of indexed publications reaches 1,000 by 2030.

To ensure the value of research grants reaches RM 7.5 million by 2030 (accounting for both successful and attempted grant applications).
