PHARMACORE stands for Pharmacy Community Outreach Programme which is a programme that allow students to apply their knowledge and social skills to help the community that are in need. 

Unlike the previous year, we decided to advocate a programme with different concept which is to help the elderly that lives in the nursing home.

The programme was held on 22 September 2020 at two different nursing house for elderly care which were Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Lembaga Zakat Selangor and Rumah Seri Kenangan, Cheras. 

However, due to the pandemic COVID-19 outbreak, the programme cannot be held as planned before, thus 95 participants were asked to form into groups and make an interesting, creative A3 sized E-Poster that are informative. Besides, the E-Poster must be related to health information or ways to use medicine. Two of the chosen E-Posters were printed out for each elderly house.

On 22 September 2020, the representative from charity bureau of SOPHYS visited the two respective elderly houses and donated 4 bottles of hand sanitisers, 3 boxes of face masks, 2 printed A3 sized E-Posters and donation money which was collected before the programme was held.
