The UiTM Faculty of Pharmacy is committed to delivering world-class pharmaceutical education, research, and service. Our distinguished faculty members bring extensive expertise and employ cutting-edge, innovative teaching methodologies to equip future global pharmacists.

Building on a foundation established in 2001, following the 1996 commencement of the Diploma in Pharmacy Programme, the Faculty has rapidly expanded its academic portfolio. Since accepting the first cohort of the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) programme in 2002, we have become a dynamic hub for advanced learning. Our robust research ecosystem, launched with Master’s and Doctorate programs in 2003, is marked by consistently doubling postgraduate enrollment, reflecting our success in securing competitive grants from national (Science Funds, Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment) and internal UiTM sources.

We maintain a global outlook through active linkages with international universities and pharmaceutical industries, fostering vital consultation and collaborative research. Our modern Degree and Postgraduate programs are centered at the UiTM Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus, complemented by the Diploma in Pharmacy program offered at UiTM Penang.

The Puncak Alam Campus houses our state-of-the-art facilities across five dedicated buildings, designed to support intensive research and innovative learning. Students benefit from 19 teaching rooms, 12 Problem-Based Learning (PBL) rooms, a smart classroom, and numerous computer laboratories dedicated to both teaching and specialized research. Crucially, we offer 63 specialized teaching and multi-disciplinary research laboratories (including 14 for Pharmaceutical Life Sciences, 11 for Pharmacology, 8 for Pharmaceutical Chemistry, 16 for Pharmacy Practice, and 14 for Pharmaceutics). Furthermore, the Faculty manages the sophisticated, four-storey Laboratory Animal Facility and Management (LAFAM) unit, which provides ethical and high-standard support for our academic and collaborating researchers. These expansive, high-quality resources ensure that our environment is optimally designed to deliver unparalleled comfort, experience, and value, inviting future contacts and collaborations to further our mutual goals.
