Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at UiTM were attached for a one-day training with VISTAS as part of this initiative. This programme imparted knowledge about "nanodrug delivery systems" to pharmacy students and academic staff. This webinar on nanoparticles mainly concentrated on current developments in nanoformulations for neurodegenerative disorders. VISTAS trained 60 outbound students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM, alongside 180 other participants. The speakers were Prof. Dr. Shanmugasundaram P., Prof. Dr. Sathes Kumar, Prof. Dr. Shanmugarajan from VISTAS, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanish Singh Jayasingh Chellammal from the Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM. Besides learning about nanoparticle formulations for neurodegenerative illnesses, students also relished a hands-on session of in vivo nanoparticle evaluations.
