Publication Repository Information System Management (PRISMa) is a comprehensive database management system of UiTM which is designed to provide up-to-date information on publication. An online publication directory of academician and researcher have been generated through this database. Starting from 1 February 2021, all indexed and non-indexed publication that registered in the system will be reviewed and validated by the PTAR coordinators.
Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) coordinated an online sharing session in collaboration with Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) UiTM Shah Alam on 7 th October 2021 via Webex application. This session was organized to disseminate information on research validation using PRISMa database. Two speakers were invited to give a talk, Pn Adlina Abdullah (Deputy Chief Librarian) and Pn Siti Rohayu Mohamad (Senior Librarian), both from PTAR, UiTM Shah Alam. The topics were introduction to metadata index and non-index publication and research publication validation in PRISMa. We received a positive feedback of the session from the faculty members. In the future, we expect more collaboration with PTAR to enhance knowledge transfer on teaching, learning and research.
