This collaborative webinar organized by Faculty of Pharmacy UiTM and co-organized with Bioeconomy Sdn. Bhd. aims to give exposure to students, researchers and industries concerning the roles of laboratory analysis under strict quality assurance and quality control for pharmaceutical products. Guest speaker, a Senior Principal Assistant Director in Product & Cosmetic Testing Section from the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), Ministry of Health (MOH) was invited to provide a precise information on the standard analytical techniques and modern instrumentation in the analyses of herbal, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. This speaker also focused on the importance of correct and validated analysis procedure to indicate the level of active ingredients or contaminants in pharmaceutical preparations using specific equipment/instrumentation. The webinar also attracted and engaged the potential industries thus encouraging the collaborative research work as well as servicing.
