Not to forget all the honourable speakers, Dr. John Shia Kwong Siew (UiTM), Associate Professor Dr. Mizaton Hazizul Hasan (UiTM), Associate Professor Dato’ Dr. Vellayan (UiTM), Professor Dr. Goh Yong Meng (UPM), Dr. Gurmeet Kaur Surindar Singh (UiTM), who had contributed substantially to this eighteenth workshop. Sincere thanks for their time and the exceptional speech.
There was a total of 24 participants from various institutions, namely Monash University Malaysia, Malaysian Palm Oil Board, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, International Islamic University, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and Universiti Teknologi MARA. Various essential animal restraining techniques, blood sampling techniques and oral gavage were covered in both the theory and practical sessions (Figure 1 and Figure 2).
Last but not least, LAFAM would like to express our deepest appreciation to the organising committee, the administrative staff, the veterinary officer, Dr. Nursakinah Binti Latifi, all the facilitators for the hands-on session, and all the assistant veterinary officers of LAFAM; without them, this accomplishment would not have been possible.
