On 16th April until 17th April 2022, University of Cyberjaya (UoC) and AIMST University, in collaboration with Malaysia Pharmacy Student Association (MyPSA) has conducted an event named 2nd MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2022. This event consists of 3 events which are Piala Aishah Compounding Challenge (PA), Pharmacy Quiz Challenge (QC), and Clinical Pharmacy Challenge (CC). UiTM managed to send 15 participants, 4 participants from year 4 students for CC, 6 participants which consists of 2 groups from year 1 students for PA, and 3 participants from year 3 and 2 participants from year 4 students for QC.
The purpose of this event is to to produce highly knowledgeable students in the field of pharmacy, improve students' ability to interact and communicate well as well as the ability to complete assigned tasks and to produce future pharmacists who are able to work in a team in the future.
CC mechanism has 3 rounds which the participants will answer MCQ and SAQ, sit for OSCE, and present a case study. PA has 4 rounds which the participants will answer MCQ, SAQ, SAQ with different difficulty, and complete a case study then present it. Lastly, QC has 4 rounds which the participants will answer MCQ, SAQ, SAQ with different difficulty, and participants will be drawing votes then answer the questions drawn.
