It's that time of the year again! The Society of Pharmacy Students (SOPHYS) has hosted the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, January 14, 2022. This marks the second year of this long awaited ceremony being held remotely through Webex following the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is conducted to present  the  new  SOPHYS  2021/2022  mainboard  and  all  the  new  Head  of  Bureau.  Furthermore, representatives from the previous SOPHYS 2019/2020 will summarize the activities organized by them as a wrap-up of their term.

The main highlight of this event is to provide a platform for emerging leaders to come to the fore. As a result, SOPHYS, the faculty, and UiTM as a whole will continue to thrive. It also seeks to create a platform for students to get to know their new leaders, who will continue to manage club activities and care for their charity. Slightly different from the previous year, this time, AGM has conducted a manifesto session for two of the mainboard positions. This session helps to boost one’s confidence in leading and speaking in front, achieving SOPHYS's objective in producing a generation with great leadership and communication skills.

AGM strives to develop more leaders that are also a team player in an organization. Complementing this year's tagline, “Together Striving for Excellence”, SOPHYS believes that to accomplish a goal, every one of us needs to give the same synergy, after all, teamwork makes the dream work.
