The Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM in collaboration with the student associations has successfully organized another auspicious event to kickstart the commencement of the new semester. The ‘Town Hall Session with the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy’ that took place on 26th October 2022 was organized on both physical and virtual platforms with the turnout number of participating students exceeding 500 people.

The event was officiated by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dato' Dr. Abu Bakar Abdul Majeed, followed by a speech focusing on introducing the organization and the running of the faculty to the students. The session was also attended by the Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs), Dr. Mohd Shahezwan Abd Wahab, Deputy Dean (Industry, Community, Alumni & Network), Dr. Norkasihan Ibrahim and Deputy Dean (Student Affairs), Dr. Aida Azlina Ali, Head of Departments, Coordinators, lecturers and staff from all departments.

The aim of organizing this event was successfully achieved with the introduction of the staff, especially to the new pharmacy students (Semester 1) and through the Q&A session held with the Dean and Deputy Deans as the panels, allowing students to directly communicate their problems, opinions and comments.
