In early April, the Sekretariat Mahasiswa Fakulti Farmasi (SMF) and Society of Pharmacy Students (SOPHYS) organized a program called COACH 2023. The event was held on the 1st of April, 2023, at Dewan Kuliah 500. COACH 2023 was designed to introduce the committee members on the process of organising events in the campus and to enhance their leadership skills. The program was a full-day event, running from 10 AM to 8 PM. The day was filled with exciting activities, including mini-games, a briefing on organization management and development by Dr. Aida Azlina, COACH module briefing, and hands-on sessions. One of the highlights of the event was the hands-on session, where each group was required to fill in forms that are needed to organise an event such as the paperwork , Form C, and final report (Laporan Penutup). This session provided the participants with first-hand experience in completing the tasks required to organise a successful program. In addition, there was also a sharing session with leaders from the RX19 batch, which gave participants an opportunity to learn from experienced senior pharmacy students. COACH 2023 was concluded with a closing ceremony by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dato Dr. Abu Bakar Abdul Majeed. The event ended with a congregational Iftar at Dewan Pavilion, bringing the participants closer together. Overall, COACH 2023 was a successful program that achieved its goals of enhancing the organising and leadership skills of each committee member. The event provided a unique and practical learning experience for the participants and contributed to the development of the future leaders.
